Postnatal Yoga

Postnatal Yoga in the Tradition of Kundalini Yoga is designed to help you find your strength again after the birth of your baby. We use specific exercises (kriyas) meditations, chats and breathing techniques to to support you through the early post partum period. The physical yoga will help strengthen your core and and pelvic muscles and keep the spine and shoulders flexible. The chants breathing exercises and meditations are deeply nurturing and and you will learn many easy techniques you can practice outside of class that can help you cope with the stressful and tiring times.

You will meet women with their babies and have opportunity to talk and spend time together. Kundalini yoga aims to increase your health, self-confidence and sense of well-being. During this time of great change it can be a real help to make you feel supported and it feels good to know you are going through those changes and feelings as those around you.

Classes consist of no more than 6 women, ensuring a high level of teaching. If you would like to join, please contact Laura and leave your details.

thanks so much for running the mother and baby yoga classes. Both myself (and baby Uma!) have thoroughly enjoyed them. I think the yoga really helped postbirth both physically and mentally with recovery and adapting to being a new mum.
