Claudia Hofmeister
Matwork Pilates Instructor
on maternity leave :: Locum: Ana Barretxeguren (see above)
Claudia comes from Germany. After more than ten years of suffering from lower back pain and mild scoliosis, she discovered Pilates and was so impressed that she decided to become a Pilates instructor myself. Claudia qualified as a PILATES foundation teacher after an extensive training at the Scott Studio in Somerset under Suzanne Scott. Throughout her training she worked with Suzy Barton and Vivianne Jonsson at Physioworks Pilates in Covent Garden.
Attention to detail and flow are integral to her classes at the same time as keeping up the challenge and variety. But most importantly, she wants people to enjoy moving and working on their bodies.
Karen Bonnici
Instructor for Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga
Karen’s practice began with Ashtanga Vinyasa Yoga, where she experienced first hand the healing
power of Yoga in dealing with her own chronic back pain from an old injury. As a result of this, she is now passionate in sharing this with others.
Karen's classes are in a dynamic, flowing style of yoga, harmonising breath and movement to give strength and grace. Her teaching reflects her training in India and on-going studies with international teachers of Ashtanga and Hatha Yoga.

Fiona, also a professional musician, qualified as an Alexander Technique teacher in 2004. She is continually delighted and inspired by the ability of AT to transform peoples' lives, help them become free of emotional and physical patterns, which often cause pain and discomfort, and live with spontaneity and choice. Her lessons reflect her wide experience in applying the principles of the Technique and her interest in how the work compliments and supports other therapies.
Francine Chambers
Yoga Teacher (Kundalini)
on maternity leave :: Locums: Laura Jones & Lindi Lu
Kundalini Yoga is centuries old and uses a mixture of focusing on the breath, posture, movement, sound, meditation and music to effect positive changes in the body, particularly the glandular system which helps us attain a feeling of general well-being and good health. Kundalini Yoga helps calm the mind, increases strength and flexibility and is good for reducing stress and feelings of helplessness by tuning us into our own inner resources.

Certified KMI Structural BodyworkerCertified Personal Trainer - Advanced Instructor, REPs Level4Body Balancing & Structural Rehabilitation SpecialistCertified Qi Gong & Tai Chi Advanced Body Mechanics Instructor
Rajan has trained and taught in many disciplines and with many athletes, professional and amateurs, including weightlifters, footballers, golfers, cricketers, table tennis/tennis players, boxers, dancers, swimmers, runners as well as Yoga and Pilates practitioners, and they have all realised, as he has himself, that Hun Yuan practice will increase skill & technique regardless of your field, simply because it works with the very foundation of movement patterns.
It is his experience that Hun Yuan is the ‘ABC’ of physical movement. It is the development and play of the natural dynamic forces or mechanics of the whole body. Thus it can be used for health or for performance enhancement.
Yet, though it can influence an abundant spectrum of activity, Hun Yuan is self informing in the sense that only regular mindful practice refines ones Hun Yuan practice, eventually leading to a playful-ness full of balance, strength and fluidity.
