Andy Gill

Instructor for Ashtanga Yoga

Andy has been practising yoga since 1991, covering both the iyenger and ashtanga vinyasa yoga styles. His studies have seen him practice with John Scott, David Williams, Danny Paradise, Rolf and Marci Naurojat, Dena Kingsberg, David and Doug Swenson and Gingi Lee, with whom Andy has served a teaching apprenticeship. He brings an informed, non-dogmatic approach to his teaching, whilst remaining consistent and true to the ashtanga vinyasa yoga system. Students will find his approach challenging and rewarding. Andy strives to understand the individual needs of each of his students and is passionate about the healing power of yoga, something he has experienced himself in his recovery of two spinal injuries. Andy's classes are full of joy which comes from his generosity as a teacher and his natural approach to teach from the heart.

Luisa D'Ambrosio

Instructor for Antenatal, Postnatal & Rehabilitative Pilates

Luisa has taught Pilates for the past 7 years having completed her training with the Pilates Foundation (UK). Her practice and teaching experience has developed alongside her career as a contemporary dancer, and she has found this to be a strong support against injuries and strains that she has encountered through the years. She has worked with remedial Pilates on a one-to-one basis alongside osteopaths and physiotherapists, focusing on injury recovery and severe back pain.

Luisa currently teaches adult performing arts students at Laban and the Italia Conti Academy and is regularly employed as a visiting lecturer in other London establishments. She also teaches antenatal Pilates in Triyoga Primrose Hill and privately.

Laura Jones

Instructor for Kundalini Yoga, Pregnancy & Postnatal Yoga

Laura is an experienced Kundalini Yoga Instructor registered with KYTA (the official Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association). She is qualified to teach both Pregnancy Yoga and Postnatal Yoga and is a recognised doula with www.doula.org.uk.

Warm-hearted and good humored, Laura's passion for Kundalini Yoga and in particular women's health, both physical and spiritual, creates a nurturing space for women and babies to unwind and feel good.

Lindi Lu

Instructor for Pregnancy Yoga, Hatha & Kundalini Yoga

Lindi Lu is a Member of KYTA (the Kundalini Yoga Teachers Association) and is teaching yoga classes at the Dulwich Therapy Rooms. Lindi has been practising yoga for sixteen years and started training as a teacher in Kundalini, Hatha pregnancy and children’s yoga since 2004. Her practice is also informed by techniques from Pilates, and yoga for the face. She sees yoga as a magic bag of tools for improving health, releasing emotions and re-balancing the self.
She aims to make her teaching inclusive and varied, with an accent on fun. Laughter is an amazing form of healing. As they gain confidence and proficiency her students achieve discipline and continuity in their practice. Breath-work and flowing yoga are balanced with stillness and entering into the oneness created by the practice of yoga.

Laura Guarnera

Pilates for Teens Instructor

Laura`s work is informed by a lifetime of exploration in movement, she is a versatile and knowledgeable teacher with over 30 years of experience in movemen. Her strength comes from her diverse background in dance, Pilates, gyrotonic, yoga, Franklin method, body-mind centering and contact improvisation.
She teaches group yoga, Pilates and fusion classes in leading London centres, including the Siobhan Davies Dance Studios, and rehabilitation centres, such as the Physioactive Centre and Fusion. She also teaches private sessions. Drawing from her background, Laura has created her own, unique way of working, called Fluid Fusion, which she incorporates in her teaching. Laura’s unique style is particularly influenced by release techniques and Scaravelli yoga.

Alison Spink

Instructor for Jelly Belly Postcaesarean and Postnatal Pilates

Alison was first introduced to the benefits of Pilates as a young dance student and continued to use it for strengthening and conditioning during her ballet career. While rehabilitating from an injury she began her Stott Pilates training in Australia before moving overseas to travel and continue her dance career working in London, Ireland and China. She has since completed her certification for mat, reformer, cadillac, chair and barrels and continues to enjoy further education through various workshops. After working in her hometown of Brisbane for the past 2 years as an instructor she has made the move back to London and is currently teaching pre and post natal classes as well as private and group studio equipment sessions. Alison is passionate about the Pilates Method and tries to bring out the best in all her clients."

Joanna Blake

Instructor for Pilates

Joanna was a professional dancer when she injured herself at the age of 30. As part of her recovery, she took up Pilates, and soon decided that she wanted to become an instructor.
Joanna studied Pilates with Alan Herdman, the UK Pilates pioneer and master. A founder member of the Pilates Foundation, Joanna has taught for over a decade – privately and for Holmes Place Health Clubs and Health Clinics.
She believes that Pilates should be precisely taught with a great deal of attention to detail.

Amir Mojarrad

Instructor for Kundalini Yoga

Having previously been engaged in disciplines, such as Qigong and Tai Chi, Amir Mojarrad found his true path in the form of Kundalini Yoga in the year 2003. He has been a Kundalini Yoga teacher since 2006, recognised by the Yoga Alliance UK. He was taught by Ravi Singh and Ana Brett, who are highly regarded Kundalini Yoga teachers in the US.
Amir has a distinct down-to-earth approach to teaching, which helps the student feel comfortable and involved in their own progress and body awareness, as well as demystifying concepts in spirituality making them accessible to all.

His classes are a flowing combination of movements, breathing techniques, mantras and meditation. Kundalini Yoga is not mainly about difficult poses, and it is taught by Amir in such a way that it engages students of all levels and brings about physical, mental and spiritual benefits that are immediately noticeable.

Maria Eugenia Valdivia

Dance Movement Psychotherapist

Maria Eugenia's work draws from dance movement therapy techniques, over 10 years of teaching creative dance to children and various somatic and improvisation practices. Being a dance artist and psychologist, Maria danced professionally in Peru (her native country)for 7 years. She holds a BA in Clinical Psychology from the Universidad Catolica del Peru and an MA in Dance Movement Therapy from Goldsmiths University (London). Since 2008 Maria Eugenia has been a consultant specialising in dance, movement and emotional well being for the Happy@Home Programme and HappyinHackney Programme for the Learning Trust. She regularly delivers Playdancing to other settings in Hackney, Brockley and Blackheath.

Ness Sherry

Ante and Postnatal Yoga Teacher

Ness has been practising yoga since 1992 and teaching since 2007. She practices and teaches mainly within the style of Astanga, but with a background in Iyengar, she maintains a strong passion for alignment. She loves how yoga supports us both mentally and physically through all stages of our lives, particularly through the most transformative period, that of childbirth.
Whilst pregnant with her daughter in 2010, she trained in teaching Pregnancy yoga at Triyoga. Having experienced the extremely positive benefits of yoga throughout her own pregnancy she is keen to encourage other mums-to-be to use yoga to empower them towards an active birth. Continuing beyond this, Ness also offers postnatal classes - the strengthening, rebalancing and beautiful bonding experience that is Mummy & Me postnatal yoga.

Emily Austen

HypnoBirthing Facilitator & Teacher

Emily is a Cognitive Hypnotherapist, certified NLP Practitioner and HypnoBirthing teacher. She holds the National Council of Hypnotherapy Practitioner Diploma (HPD). She trained with the internationally acclaimed Hypnotherapist and pioneer of Cognitive Hypnotherapy Trevor Silvester at the Quest Institute at Regents College in London. Emily is licensed to practice through the National Council of Hypnotherapy.
Emily is driven by seeing people reach their full potential through the work they undertake together. She is excited to see the work that she doeso effect positive changes in her clients' lives.
